Strawberry Freezer Jam Recipe For Your Baby Shower Breakfast or Brunch!

This strawberry freezer jam recipe is so easy to make and it tastes Delicious! Serve this as a condiment for your Breakfast or Brunch Baby Shower Food Menu. See our great Tip below the recipe!Ingredients:- 1 qt. or 2 pt. fresh strawberries
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 box Sure-Gel fruit pectin
- 3/4 c. water
Wash the strawberries and then remove the stems. Thinly slice the strawberries into a large bowl. Sprinkle the sugar over the strawberries and set this aside for 10 minutes, stirring the mixture occasionally. Mix the water and the Sure-Gela in saucepan. Bring this mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling and stirring for 1 minute. Stir Sure-Gel mixture into strawberries and stir this constantly for 3 minutes. Fill the canning jars (size is your choice), within a 1/2 inch of the top of the jar. Wipe off the top edges of the jar. Quickly cover with the lids and let stand at room temperature 24 hours. Then place the jars in the freezer. Refrigerate after opening. Tip: This jam can also be made as Favors to give your guests as they leave. Using the canning jars, print a label for each of your guests (use oval labels or the standard 2” X 4” shipping labels that come on sheets). You can use pre-made labels, or print them yourself using label sheets purchased at your local stationery store. Then tie a ribbon to match your baby shower theme around the lid!
