Artichoke Dip Recipe

Loads of friends have passed around this artichoke dip recipe. After many a get-together, the next day we’d receive a call, “Hey, can I get that awesome dip recipe from you guys?” A great appetizer to make ahead of time and then pop in the oven (you can microwave as well) just before your guests arrive! Ingredients:- 1 - 15 oz. can of artichokes (drained)
- 1 cup mayonnaise (can substitute with light mayonnaise)
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 small can of green chilies
- ¼ cup chopped tomatoes
- Tomato for garnish (optional)
Stir all ingredients together and place in a greased pie pan or shallow casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.Serve with wheat crackers (wheat thins). Tip: You can also use the marinated artichokes sold in the jars. Drain well (We rinse off the oil for lower fat content). The marinated flavor gives the dip a little zesty taste!
